However, the other options are a a job with small firm or the public sector that probably pays less than the job you left to go to law school or a well paying but soul-crushing code monkey position. Not only can you do anything with a law degree, you will most likely be forced to! Very thoughtful, caring, kind, genuine associates (staff attorneys). Too bad the staff attorneys you've worked with have been difficult to deal with. I remember being excited about my acceptance into law school- all bright-eyed and bushy tailed. Now I’m certain that I would find more happiness and fulfillment living in a van down by the river.
