		<description>It&#039;s a good idea to save enough money in an emergency fund, to cover three to six months of expenses, and then go away on vacation whenever you wish.  

In many cases, even if you go away for a few days, the project will still be ongoing upon your return.  If not, you will already have saved the money to cover expenses during the time that you either wait for another project (which rarely lasts more than six weeks) or search for a full-time position, start a business, write a book, etc.</description>
